Abstract

This study aims to provide education and training on eco-friendly organic fertilizer production using biopori technology to address organic waste management issues in Kedawung Village, Kebumen. The methods included community outreach, hands-on training, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments involving 20 participants. The results revealed that 75% of participants demonstrated improved knowledge, with an average score difference of 20.6%. The training not only enhanced community understanding of organic waste management but also encouraged active participation in biopori implementation. These findings align with prior research affirming that direct education and practical approaches effectively increase community awareness and skills. However, program sustainability requires long-term mentoring and multi-stakeholder engagement to ensure consistent implementation.
