Vol. 31 (2026): UMP Progressive Youth Conference (UPYC)

The UMP Progressive Youth Conference (UPYC) is an academic conference aimed at enhancing students’ English proficiency, particularly in spoken communication and academic presentation skills. The conference primarily involves students of the English Enrichment Program (EEP) from non-English study programs at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto through conference-based simulations as presenters and participants.

UPYC provides students with opportunities to practice English actively in academic contexts, develop confidence in communication, and improve their fluency through presentations, discussions, and academic interactions. By using English as the primary medium of communication, the conference encourages students to strengthen their communicative competence and participate more confidently in academic environments.
