Cyberbullying dan Kesehatan Mental Remaja dalam Perspektif Psikologi Digital di Era Media Sosial

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah pola interaksi sosial masyarakat, khususnya remaja sebagai kelompok pengguna media sosial terbesar. Di balik manfaat teknologi komunikasi, muncul fenomena cyberbullying yang menjadi salah satu ancaman serius terhadap kesehatan mental. Berbeda dengan perundungan konvensional, cyberbullying memiliki karakteristik anonimitas, jangkauan luas, dan berlangsung tanpa batas ruang dan waktu sehingga dampak psikologisnya lebih kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara cyberbullying dan kesehatan mental remaja dalam perspektif psikologi digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis terhadap berbagai jurnal internasional dan nasional terbaru periode 2024–2026. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cyberbullying berhubungan signifikan dengan meningkatnya depresi, kecemasan, kesepian, gangguan tidur, rendahnya harga diri, perilaku menyakiti diri sendiri (non-suicidal self-injury), serta ide bunuh diri. Faktor psikologis seperti online disinhibition, kebutuhan validasi sosial, perbandingan sosial digital (social comparison), dan kecanduan media sosial memperkuat risiko tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan multidisipliner yang mengintegrasikan psikologi, pendidikan, keluarga, dan teknologi untuk mencegah dampak negatif cyberbullying terhadap kesehatan mental generasi muda.
