Abstract

This service was provided to the organization Ikatan Pemuda RT 04/RW 02 of Kemutug Kidul village, Baturraden sub-district. This organization was formed in 2020 and has continued to grow since then. These young people are trying to advance the village thru activities that are productive for young people. The objectives of this community service activity are: (1) To increase self-awareness and self-leadership skills to fulfilll roles and responsibilities within the organization, and (2) To increase knowledge and ability to apply GAP in catfish farming as a means of entrepreneurship. The method used in this service activity is the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method. The following is the sequence of the PLA method: socialization, self-leadership & GAP training, technology application, mentoring & evaluation, and program sustainability. This service helps members of Youth Group 4/2 understand how to improve their self-leadership skills in an organizational context and learn about the potential of fish farming, particularly catfish. Additionally, members of Youth Group 4/2 are able to apply basic techniques in implementing GAP and water quality management.
